As Senior integrations developer, you will be part of a team of developers that form a blended team of Integration engineers and developers responsible for maintaining and enhancing our integration technologies covering technologies like RabbitMQ, BizTalk, FIX messaging and SWIFT, you will help define the strategies and develop enhancements and provide guidance and support for our client facing delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Lead integration Engineer, Architect and Head of Technology Upgrade in determining priorities and ensuring the team is working as effectively as possible.
• Documentation of maintenance and recovery of Integration assets.
• Document specifications for core architecture design and development for system integration and API solutions to business problems.
• Creates clean and efficient software which can be iteratively built on top of.
• Where appropriate produces re-usable components and system integrations which can be used to develop further applications more efficiently.
• Interacts with 3rd party development teams to help deliver software components where appropriate.
• Actively participates in all aspects of the agile software development lifecycle.
• Take ownership of releases of internal messaging applications.
• Support the configuration of Existing systems both in test and production.
• Ensure appropriate monitoring and alerting is in place for all developed systems and ensure recovery documentation is adequate.
• Ability to develop software that work across both public cloud solutions like Azure\AWS and private cloud.

Experience required:

• Experience related to software development, upgrade, design, deployment, Maintenance of Integration assets and understanding of the risks, issues, and complexities.
• Demonstrable experience of specific Integration architecture and design techniques, and others such as microservices, SOA, API, and Event driven architectures, Biztalk, REST, JSON, Flat files, JDBC/MQ Adapters.
• Experience with the following modern and legacy development products and frameworks: Microsoft .NET, C#/VB.NET, WebAPI and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of the front-to-back-end technology stack, and how the layers interact together.
• Knowledge of how integration engines and APIs meet security design principles and customers' security compliance standards.
• A track record of success in software systems integration.
• Broad exposure to cloud vendor gateway products (Google, AWS or Azure) and latest/emerging integration product sets.
• Good communication & Analytical skills and independent contributor to team.
• Experience with Financial Services Backoffice systems.
