Responsibilities
Own the partner technical lifecycle from Discovery through Launch, serve as the partner's single POC so they never need to escalate to multiple internal contacts.
Conduct Discovery with each partner: understand their technical environment, map their need to the right PayJoy integration path (Self-Serve, Guided, or Custom Build), and produce a clear Discovery Doc with confirmed integration type and delivery mode.
Build and manage the Integration Plan per partner: scope, milestones, stakeholder register, and RAID log reviewed in every partner sync with no surprises.
Run weekly partner syncs with agenda, notes, and assigned next steps and follow through on every action item without waiting to be reminded.
Lead technical walkthroughs, Q&A sessions, and enablement sessions with partner engineering teams during integration, ensuring they have the knowledge and context to integrate and go live with confidence.
Push delivery across all parties: hold partners accountable to their integration work and testing timelines, and escalate blockers to Engineering, Product, or GTM fast.
For Custom Builds, escalate to the Product Manager with a structured problem statement, actively monitor the product cycle, and resume full ownership of integration and launch the moment the solution is delivered.
Coordinate launch end-to-end, sandbox, certification, pilot, production rollout, and confirm real transactions are live before closing the integration.
Track originations and gross margin in the 90 days post-launch per integration, flag underperforming integrations, and drive resolution.
Requirements
+6 years of experience in a B2B technical implementation, integration management, or solutions role at a FinTech, payments, or API-first SaaS company, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment where speed, ambiguity, and rapid iteration were the norm, with a proven track record of owning partner integrations end-to-end from scoping through go-live.
Technical fluency sufficient to conduct integration Discovery independently: able to read API documentation, evaluate feasibility, understand integration constraints, and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Writing code is not required.
Consistent record of individual contribution at a high level: you own your workstreams end-to-end, raise your hand for the hard problems, identify what needs to happen next without being told, hold partners and internal teams accountable without formal authority, and deliver results without relying on others to set your agenda.
Ability to manage 5 or more simultaneous partner integrations at different lifecycle stages, maintaining full visibility, momentum, and quality across all of them.
Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish (mandatory): able to lead technical partner engagements across Latin America and deliver structured, executive-level updates to the Enterprise Team and the Executive Team in the US.
