Do you want to play a key role in the design of business and IT solutions in the world leader of biological solutions by ensuring that the solutions we develop, use and reuse best-practice integrations?

The position will offer you close collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation, and with engineers, technology architects and others in Novonesis IT

As a Senior Integration developer, you will become part of the Agile Integration team, all working to design and implement integration solutions in an extensive and complex environment.

The Integration Team consists of 6 highly skilled professionals, each with a specialty, but all with a focus on the overall landscape. The culture is one of open and honest feedback, and we work with agile principles in planning and prioritizing deliverables.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Being a key member of an Agile Integration team, collaboratively realizing features through the Boomi software development lifecycle using iPaas, DataHub, APIM and EDI
• Guiding and participating in design, development, unit testing, and deployment of integrations and services including enhancements and/or resolution of any issues
• Investigating and resolving complex integration issues
• Working independently with a minimal level of guidance from technical leadership
• Mentoring junior engineers, including design collaboration and code reviews
• Driving best practices for integration design and documentation
   

Potentially relevant experience:

• 5+ years as a Boomi developer.
• Experience in software architecture design and development using Java and Groovy.
• Experience with Web Services technologies including REST, SOAP, and WSDL and testing tools.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements to design specifications using a thorough and methodical approach.
• Excellent team player with effective communication skills in a multi cultural environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience.
• You are passionate about personal development and take responsibility for it.
• You speak and write English to full professional proficiency.

Bonus points if you have experience in any of the following areas:

• integrating with SAP backend systems
• using Linux/Unix environments
• AWS technologies and services
• event driven architecture and message brokers like Kafka or Solace PUBSUB+
• agile collaboration tools as AZURE DevOps
