Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
TV Media Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive TV media plans aligned with client goals, brand strategy, and audience targeting.
- Lead campaign planning from start to finish: media selection, scheduling, budget planning, booking, and delivery management.
- Oversee TV buying negotiations, placement optimization, and inventory management.
- Track campaign performance, manage timelines, and ensure smooth execution and material delivery with vendors and broadcasters.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and deliver best-in-class recommendations.
- Analyze campaign performance and deliver post-buy reports with actionable insights and optimization strategies.
Integrated Media & Strategic Planning
- Support cross-channel planning by aligning TV efforts with other traditional and digital platforms (OOH, social, online video, etc.).
- Collaborate with strategy, creative, and data teams to ensure consistency in messaging and media approach.
- Stay updated with media consumption trends, particularly in TV and video content, to enhance planning effectiveness.
Stakeholder Management & Team Collaboration
- Act as the primary point of contact for TV media matters with internal teams, clients, and external media partners.
- Collaborate closely with buying teams and creative agencies to ensure smooth campaign execution.
- Guide and mentor junior team members, contributing to knowledge sharing and capability development.
- Recommend improvements in planning workflows and tools to increase team efficiency.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in planning/buying, preferably in an agency or media company environment.
- Strong understanding of the local TV landscape, including terrestrial, cable, digital TV, and video-on-demand platforms.
- Proficiency in planning tools, audience data analysis, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with vendors and broadcasters.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to integrated media planning (traditional + digital).
- Experience working with FMCG, retail clients is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is preferred.
