We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Client Advisor to join our Dublin based Advisory team. The successful applicant will work within the RMP Ireland Practise who are a dedicated team providing full advisory / executive service to an existing book of Domestic and / or Multinational client, both Outgoing as the Producing Office (PO) and Incoming as the Servicing Office (SO).

This role will be based in our Dublin office and offers a hybrid working model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Please note, commercial insurance experience will be an essential prerequisite for this position, and the successful candidate must also be CIP qualified.

This highly sought after position will involve working closely with the designated Account Executives plus local colleagues in Dublin plus the Marsh network from both perspectives, PO and SO.

You will be responsible for servicing your own dedicated book of clients which will involve managing renewals, invoicing, identifying client needs, mid-term adjustments and generally handling any queries that come through from your dedicated client base in a quick and professional manner.

This position will suit an experienced Commercial or Corporate Insurance professional, ideally from a broking background, however, we will also consider candidates from Commercial / Corporate Underwriting backgrounds, where there is a desire to move into servicing and candidates can demonstrate a high level of relationship management skills.

We will rely on you to:

  • Provide the best technical advice and service to Clients and Client Executives, utilising own knowledge and that of colleagues as necessary
  • Responsible for a portfolio of accounts ranging from standalone statuary covers up to large Multidivisional complex risks (including Property, BI, Motor, Liability and Group Travel/PA, Marine)
  • Negotiate renewals, re-marketing and finalise insurance placements as well as working closely with our Placement team
  • Provide day to day client support and service with a prompt response to enquiries including invoicing, issue of cover notes, endorsements, and summaries within agreed timescale
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues, Insurance Companies and their personnel
  • Ensure that compliance procedures and policies are maintained and adhered to at all times
  • Ensure cover placement in line with client instructions is delivered on time
  • Ensure that all emails and documents are saved in a timely manner on Acturis
  • Support the Team Manager with projects and other work as required
  • Working closely with Marsh network of overseas offices

  • Ability to maintain clear lines of communication with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Accuracy with good attention to detail and ability to check work of self and others 
  • Flexible and team player – develops close partnerships with onshore and offshore colleague
  • Ability to identify areas to improve efficiency, accuracy and analysis and suggest ways of improvement
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Strong technical knowledge of P&C insurance products

  • Ideally hold or be working towards the MDI /ACII qualifications. Must have a desire to undertake studies in industry related qualifications if not already qualified
  • Strong IT skills and experience with Acturis is preferable
