Boeing Global Services is seeking a Senior Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) who will support and enable employee and business performance through effective training solutions. This role supports the development of learning experiences that align with organizational goals, operational priorities, and workforce needs across a dynamic environment. As a trusted partner to business leaders and subject matter experts, the role contributes to a culture of continuous learning, capability building, and performance improvement while helping ensure training solutions are relevant, scalable, and impactful.
This is a hybrid role meaning you may be required to support activities at Boeing locations (Jacksonville, FL or San Antonio, TX).
Position Responsibilities:
- Analyze training needs by partnering with operations, quality, safety, engineering, and repair station stakeholders
- Design and develop instructor-led, blended, and digital training solutions for technical and compliance requirements
- Create learning objectives, lesson plans, and assessments that support employee performance and align to Boeing and regulatory standards
- Apply instructional design models to build effective, measurable, and learner-centered training experiences
- Develop and maintain training documentation such as curricula, SOP-based job aids, guides, and eLearning content
- Validate training effectiveness through pilot testing, feedback analysis, and performance metrics
- Ensure training aligns with aviation regulations, quality systems, and company standards including safety and human factors
- Support continuous improvement by updating learning content based on process changes, audit findings, and workforce needs
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or training development; either pedagogy or andragogy
- Functional knowledge of instructional design methodologies and models, including ADDIE, SAM, backward design, or comparable frameworks
- Skill in project management, prioritization, and managing multiple deadlines
- 3+ years' experience in interpreting learning data and presenting analysis and/or recommendations to management
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and teaming skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Proficiency with common development tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe creative suite

Summary Pay Range: $106,250 - $143,750
