Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Employee Development Specialist to join the Technical Training team at Cecil Field in Jacksonville, FL. This role provides leadership to a team of instructors responsible for delivering and supporting required employee training. The position partners with multiple business organizations, including Operations and Quality, to assess training needs, analyze product and systems requirements, and develop effective training media and instructional solutions. The Senior Employee Development Specialist plays a key role in ensuring technical training objectives align with production, safety, and business performance goals.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and support teams by providing training, facilitating collaboration, and driving problem resolution and process improvement efforts.
- Apply instructional expertise in preparation, delivery, evaluation, student assessment, remediation, motivation, and engagement to safely lead learners and manage classroom and lab environments in accordance with company policies.
- Assess training requirements and coordinate with cross-functional team members to ensure commitments are met, customers are supported, and business goals are achieved.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide learning consultation services to business partners.
- Identify potential issues affecting team operational performance, recommend solutions, and lead implementation activities.
- Interpret industry regulations and Boeing standards to ensure training delivery complies with commercial, government, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
- Analyze, validate, optimize, and coordinate training requests for new employees.
- Support varying shifts and locations across the region based on customer need.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of experience interpreting commercial/military aviation technical data, including schematics, blueprints, drawings, maintenance and operations manuals, sketches, and written and verbal instructions
- 5+ years of experience in instructional delivery, employee development, technical training, or human performance improvement
- 5+ years of experience in technical and team leadership
- Advanced communication skills in working with teammates and senior leadership
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, standards, and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Associate degree or higher
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant license or EASA B1/B2
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations for both commercial and military aircraft

Summary Pay Range: $131,750 - $178,250
