Are you passionate about creating truly engaging training content? If so, we are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to join our team. This person will focus on designing, developing and editing e -learning content which can include assessing learning needs and the audience, as well as, analyzing existing instructional materials.  

 
Let's talk about Responsibilities: 

  • Primary focus on developing new and editing existing online learning materials and content 

  • Performing audience analysis and developing appropriate learning objectives 

  • Designing and developing curricula, training materials, and teaching aids in support of CitusHealth software applications 

  • Working with product experts and internal stakeholders to understand product features/functionality and design and deliver accurate, high-quality e-learning materials 

  • Working in a collaborative team environment  

  • Applying relevant adult learning principals to all instructional material 

  • Coordinating and participating in quality control, proofreading, and distribution of courseware 

  • Performing administrative duties in CitusHealth’s learning management system, including on-boarding users, generating curriculum metrics, uploading and managing learning tracks, and creating curricula 

  • Provide recommendations for content management, eLearning and in app Help Center strategy to maximize efficiency and streamline internal and external user experience.  

Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in curriculum/education/instructional design 

  • Minimum seven (7) years of technical writing experience with a minimum 4 years of experience in the design and development of instructional and web-based material in support of a software application (ideally SaaS) 

  • Deep knowledge of adult learning theories, assessment and evaluation methods, and industry best practices in instructor-led, online, and blended learning solutions 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently 

  • Ability to work guide discussions and elicit feedback to identify learning requirements 

  • Ability to consult, communicate, and engage SMEs (Product Managers, Trainers, Consultants, etc.) to understand and develop curricula and learning deliverables 

  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical, organizational, collaborative, communication, and facilitation skills 

  • Strong technical writing skills with a focus on the end-user learning experience  

  • Knowledge of content authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate 

  • Knowledge of LMS curriculum/course structure and administration 

  • Knowledge of basic video/audio editing software, i.e., Camtasia, a plus 

  • Knowledge of image editing software, i.e., Adobe Photoshop, a plus 

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in the design and development of instructional and web-based material in support of a healthcare technology application 

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
