As a Sr. Instructional Designer within the People Operations (POPs) L&TD team at HubSpot, you will play a crucial role in empowering HubSpotters to achieve exceptional performance and Grow Remarkably.

With your expertise, you will create and deliver innovative learning solutions that align with the company's talent and performance cycles, and strategic objectives. Your ability to analyze learning needs, design helpful and engaging content, and implement effective programs will be instrumental in fostering a culture of high performance, as well as continuous learning and development within the organization. By collaborating with cross-functional partners and stakeholders, you will ensure that HubSpotters have the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute to HubSpot's overall growth and success.


In the role:

  • Enable crafted performance enablement experiences for HubSpotters and HubSpot People Leaders
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create effective and learner-centered experiences
  • Collaborate and work closely with partners and stakeholders cross-functionally across POPs, HR, and the company at large to drive alignment
  • Manage Subject Matter Expert (SME) relationships and communication
  • Independently lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality learning materials and experiences
  • Navigate a dynamic and fast-moving environment
  • Use data analysis, information, and good judgment to make informed recommendations and decisions
  • Flex your instructional design skills to deliver the right information in the right modality to the right audience
  • Effectively communicate and facilitate learning/information to diverse and wide-ranging audiences
  • Tap into strong program and project management skills to stay organized and deliver results


Qualifications:

  • 4-5+ years of experience working as a Sr. Instructional Designer or Sr. Learning Experience Designer within the HR, Talent or Performance Management, Talent Strategy or Development space
  • Project/Program management skills and expertise
  • Ability to collaborate and cross-functionally to deliver results
  • Ability to organize information and communicate effectively to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in research and data analysis, learning design, learning development, assessment, and evaluation
  • Familiarity with talent and performance management, and the employee lifecycle
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, quickly-changing environment
  • Leadership and independent work experience
  • Ability to develop and share perspectives, and influence others
  • Have a portfolio of instructional design work to demonstrate skills and experience


Cash compensation range: 118500-189600 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
