Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Institutional Investment Operations Representative
In this role, you will:
- Perform a variety of operational tasks for complex institutional trades or process extensive knowledge of systems
- Provide ideas for improving or implementing processes
- Perform moderately complex duties such as processing, researching inquires, and reconciling transactions
- Review time sensitive documents
- Provide training or work direction to less experienced staff
- Support audit requirements within the process
- Address compliance and corporate governance issues for the department
- Lead or participate in projects
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal and external customers as per prescribed process or procedure
- Identify and drive process re-engineering or transformation opportunities within the process
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- 4+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

- Collaborate with the U.S.-based QFC RK Data Team to implement tactical and strategic solutions for establishing and administering Data Control Reports. Responsibilities include identifying data breaks, performing root cause analysis through deep-dive and complex data analysis, and remediating and/or escalating breaks.
- Develop procedures and workflows to support BAU (Business-As-Usual) processes around data controls and analysis. Remediate and/or escalate breaks and assist in developing controls to prevent future occurrences.
- Proactively identify and raise data break issues to technology, business, compliance, and upstream system owners. Provide clear options and recommendations that drive decision-making toward resolution.
- Prioritize critical issues and coordinate communication among senior leadership. Follow and assist in developing complex processes and procedural frameworks in a fast-paced environment within firm deadlines.
- Coordinate efforts with technology, business areas, and development teams to gather requirements, drive design, and deliver enhancements to data control reports while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Act as a team lead for support functions, providing guidance and direction to junior staff. Oversee administrative and operational efforts to identify, analyze, and remediate exceptions, compliance issues, risks, and process gaps.
- Consult with Legal, Compliance, Ops Risk, Technology, and Business teams to establish and support strategic controls, ensuring adequate controls and processes are in place.
- Assist the U.S.-based QFC RK Data Team in driving system/change initiatives, business continuity plans, and identifying development needs to ensure legal and regulatory adherence.
