JOB PURPOSE:
The Senior Insights Manager - Lead Appetizers & New business, is part of a team of 3 insights experts who are strongly connected to each Category & Brand teams (2 for Potatoes / 1 for Apps & NBO) - they are true members of those teams.
As the Senior Insights Manager, you will take the lead on the Insights missions in relation with the Appetizers & New Business category, and could take some missions on transversal insights projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
You are part of the Insight team and participate to the development of the insights' capability across McCain CE by specifically leading the Insights role for the Appetizers & New Business Category.
Insights role encompasses, in close cooperation with category teams:

  • Market knowledge:
      • Identify key customers & consumers macro trends


  • Consumer & Operator research:
      • Build research plans to address gaps in market knowledge
      • Guide, recommend, implement & interpret study results
      • Select the appropriate agencies & methodologies and review key partners yearly performances
      • Support the analysis of studies / researches & transformation of recommendation into action plans
      • Have a direct contact with Global Insight Lead on Global Appetizers platform


  • Brand & Communication research plans & activities - incl pre & post-test, Brand Health Tracking


  • Participate to the lead of the development of an insights' culture within McCain CE as well as a Market Intelligence capability


  • Could participate to the management of transversal research/insight topics, to the benefit of all categories the following tasks, such as :
      • Client & Consumer Panel negotiations & follow-up
      • Demand Space model Update & Follow-up
      • Sharing of best practices, new methodologies...


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Strong marketing insights background, ideally with some knowledge of the Food Service sector, and combined with a brand / product marketing background
  • 6+ years of experience in an FMCG company
  • Excellent communication skills, written & spoken
  • Very strong command of English language, written & spoken
  • Strong analytical & management skills
  • Passion for food & OOH (FS + QSR) business
  • Passion for insights / Consumer & customer knowledge & understanding
