The Senior Infrastructure Manager - Helix Enablement is a strategic technology leader responsible for driving infrastructure modernization, automation, and self-service enablement across enterprise infrastructure platforms. This role leads engineering teams focused on delivering scalable technology solutions that improve operational efficiency, accelerate service delivery, and enhance the overall engineer and customer experience.
The leader in this role will partner closely with infrastructure engineering, platform teams, application development, architecture, security, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for standardization, automation, and workflow transformation. Leveraging Helix capabilities, the Senior Infrastructure Manager will help advance API-driven provisioning, platform integrations, infrastructure self-service, and operational excellence initiatives that reduce complexity and enable faster, more reliable technology delivery.
Success in this role requires strong people leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, influence across organizational boundaries, and deliver large-scale technology initiatives that produce measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers and technology professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Define and execute infrastructure enablement strategies that advance automation, self-service capabilities, operational efficiency, and technology modernization objectives.
  • Partner with infrastructure, platform engineering, application development, architecture, security, and business teams to drive enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure successful delivery of strategic objectives.
  • Drive the adoption of automation and orchestration solutions that eliminate manual processes, improve consistency, and increase scalability.
  • Lead the design and implementation of modern infrastructure workflows, API-driven integrations, and platform enablement solutions.
  • Establish governance standards, operational frameworks, and success metrics to ensure consistent execution and measurable business value.
  • Identify and remove barriers to delivery while proactively managing risks, dependencies, and operational challenges.
  • Champion continuous improvement through performance measurement, operational reporting, and process optimization activities.
  • Ensure infrastructure solutions support enterprise standards for reliability, resiliency, scalability, security, and risk management.
  • Promote innovation and engineering excellence by encouraging adoption of modern technologies, automation tools, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, technology operations, or related technology disciplines.
  • 5+ years of people leadership and management experience leading technical teams.
  • 5+ years' experience leading infrastructure automation, platform modernization, or technology enablement initiatives.
  • 5+ years' experience establishing operational processes, governance frameworks, performance metrics, and service delivery objectives.
  • 4+ years of direct people management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience working with infrastructure operations, service management, and enterprise technology delivery practices.
  • Experience with infrastructure self-service platforms, workflow orchestration, and API-driven service provisioning.
  • Experience delivering complex, cross-functional technology programs involving multiple stakeholder groups and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and drive outcomes across technical and non-technical organizations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts to senior leaders and executive audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage organizational change, drive adoption of new technologies, and deliver measurable operational improvements.
  • Strong planning, prioritization, problem-solving, and execution capabilities in a large, complex enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of platform engineering, cloud technologies, infrastructure-as-code, and automation frameworks.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure environments and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ITSM, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and modern operational practices.
  • Experience leading initiatives focus on improving engineering productivity, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
