Cloud Infrastructure Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure Lead with strong expertise in identifying, designing and deploying Next Generation infrastructure solutions for fast growing companies. The experience for this role will encompass cloud networking, SD-WAN technologies, zero trust frameworks, and global enterprise infrastructure planning.

This position requires the candidate to have experience in balancing competing and parallel priorities. This role is ideal for a proactive, practical self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments with hands-on experience in ISO-27001 and SOC2 compliance, security-focused organizations, and working with a dispersed, global workforce.

What you’ll do:

Infrastructure Design and Architecture: Lead the design, maintenance, and deployment of advanced cloud enterprise infrastructures inclusive of integrating SD-WAN and zero trust security solutions. This also includes architecting a robust, scalable, and secure global enterprise network that meets business and security requirements.

Deployment and Implementation: Actively engage and oversee the end-to-end deployment of solutions ensuring high performance, security, and reliability of networking solutions across multi-cloud and on-premise environments. The candidate will actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure, efficient, and resilient network solutions.

Security and Compliance: Work within ISO-27001 frameworks and other compliance environments to ensure all networking solutions adhere to stringent security standards. Implement and manage zero trust architectures, continuously evaluating and enhancing network security measures.

Project Planning and Execution: Develop and execute on complex projects. Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices, troubleshooting, and emerging technologies.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to continually evolve network architectures. Propose enhancements to existing network frameworks to improve performance, security, and scalability.

What you’ll need:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in leading infrastructure initiatives with a proven track record in designing and deploying enterprise-scale networks.

• Demonstrated experience with cloud networking vendors and technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and SD-WAN solutions.

• Experience working in ISO-2700, SOC21 or similarly regulated environments.

• Experience supporting and working with a dispersed or globally distributed workforce and performing as a hands-on technology leader.

• Expertise in firewalls, load balancers, SD-WAN, and VPN technologies

• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, and security best practices.

• Proficiency with network management, monitoring, and diagnostic tools.

• Strong understanding of network virtualization and containerized environments.

• Experience with scripting solutions e.g. Ansible and Terraform.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Cisco SD-WAN, or equivalent.

• ITIL experience.
