Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer.
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in high level technical pre migration planning/ implementation - IT infra - Servers , Storage spanning across technology and datacenters.
- Facilitate or co-ordinates deployments for complex datacenter infrastructure systems move, refresh , migration and deployments
- Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements - both pre and post CR implementation
- Collaborate and consult with the stakeholders and other various technology team , Validating the work orders, Change request , Infrastructure Life cycle refresh and with more experienced management within Technologies functional area to resolve Information Technology incidents and provide customers with best possible solutions
- Strong knowledge and be well-versed with IT/Technology Infrastructure(Compute, Storage & network), project management techniques , Ticketing tools like ServiceNow , strong event /post event documentation
- Actively contribute to identify inefficiencies and opportunities to improve the existing process and procedures
- Co-ordinate to resolve troublesome trends as they develop during the change implementation or technology upgrades
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ year in Technology Infrastructure Experience, change facilitator or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Review customer information with the technology team and implement technical initiatives for highly complex datacenter migration projects impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterprise
- Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of managing multiple medium technology development efforts that influence and lead broader work team and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with the stakeholders and other various technology team, implement change, tech refresh/migration, LCR and more experienced management within Technology area to resolve Information Technology issues and provide customers with best possible solutions
Job Expectations:
- Proficient in Networking , Storage, and server hardware
- Strong knowledge on process for life cycle refresh projects - Networks Devices, Hardware - Compute , Storage , SAN Migrations, Firewalls etc.
- Should develop reports / metrics for Work Request Reports, PMR/GPR reports, event staffing & weekly reports.
- Should be well versed with project management techniques , ticketing tools like ServiceNow , strong event /post event documentation
- Should have strong knowledge on network port implementation and storage activities - ND Outage , Array Migration ,SAN release
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and opportunities to improve the process.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Strong ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas.
- Knowledge and understanding of Technology migration challenges/issues or change management processes
