About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
- Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
- Drive solutions to reduce recovery
- Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Design complex system upgrades
- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
- Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ Years experience in Video Management System (VMS) central applications, Physical Access Control Systems, Building Management Systems, and supporting infrastructure.
- 4+ years’ systems deployment, configuration, and support experience in a large and complex IT environment consisting of Applications, Infrastructure, Network, and Security systems.
- Awareness on ITIL framework and processes such as incident, change, problem, RCA
- Exposure working with ServiceNow, Remedy and other ITSM tools.
- Sound understanding of networking, application ports, and troubleshooting application issues on complex network including LAN, WAN, and Internet
- Certification or work experience in Networking, Switching, and routing would be an added advantage.
- Experience working with Video management Systems such as Verint, ExaqVision, March Networks, etc.
- Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) Alarm Panel Device and Software experience
- UTC MASterMind Alarm Response Software experience
- Experience with implementing changes in a critical, 24/7 environment
- Experience with testing, certifying, and deploying critical updates to distributed devices across a network.
- Knowledge of network connectivity constructs including protocols, switch configuration and routing
- Experience with deployment and support of Alarm Panel devices
- Previous experience working with Lenel Ongaurd 7.x, Niagara, Guardian Physical, Guardian Visitor Management system is good to have.
Job Expectations:
- Provides technology endpoint support, device configuration, installation, break/fix and operational support for Network Video Recorders, IP Camera and Alarm, Physical Access Control Systems, Building Management Systems, and supporting infrastructure.
- Responsible for ensuring application and infra uptime, installation, configuration, participation in BCP testing, deployment, vulnerability remediation and administrative support effort on SIAMS, VMS, BMS and Physical Access Control applications under supervision of senior team members.
- Responsible for achieving operational SLA, dedicated support to ensure SACM, and emergency patching/support for over 150,000 network video recorders, alarm panels, security cameras, access control panels and badge readers across enterprise.
- Uses diagnostic and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to systems or escalates if needed to meet established service level agreements.
- Troubleshoots network, hardware and software issues using pre-defined guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), templates and/or test scripts, identifies and escalates problems.
- Tracks changes and performance trends and participates in process improvement activities.
- Works in 24x7 rotational shifts and on-call based on business needs.
