Responsibilities:
- Maintain and extend our Kubernetes platform
- Improve Performance & Reliability of our production platform
- Ensure proper observability of the production systems
- Assist with database and service performance tuning
- Collaborate with Development Engineers on the impacts of new features
- Identify architecture bottlenecks and work with Engineering on new solutions
- Collaborate with Support on operational runbooks
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of Kubernetes.
- Terraform.
- OCI (Oracle Cloud) or, multi-cloud experience preferred.
- Container lifecycle.
- Programming Go, Python or similar.
- Database optimization.
- Network level troubleshooting.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 6 to 8 years of relevant experience is required.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. - GCP / GKE much preferred.
