The Senior Infra Specialist will support system architecture, manage software/hardware, conduct upgrades, plan for disaster recovery, and ensure system performance. Responsibilities include monitoring systems, troubleshooting, preparing documentation, and providing on-call support.

- Provide proactive advice and assistance, on the features of, and the use of the operating systems software and utilities, midrange servers and peripherals
- Provide 7 x 24 on-call support for emergency production incidents and on-site support for fire-fighting and perform shift duties as required
Requirements
- University degree in electrical/electronic, computer engineering/science or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years’ systems administration and support experience of which at least 2 years must be solid in the AIX platform and/or other Unix systems, along with skills in WebSphere Application Server, MQ, Oracle and DB2.
- Possessing of the skills in IBM Tivoli Monitoring Tools and IBM DataPower will be an advantage.
- Experience in IBM SAN Storage and SAN switch support and administration with its associated management software will be an advantage
- Willing to work occasionally on evening and holiday shift duties for supporting operation
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Able to pick up new skills through self-learning and on-the-job training
- Good problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills and able to work under pressure
Skills Required
