The Role
Lead technical owner for Infor ERP: administer and optimize Infor LN/SyteLine, build InforOS/ION workflows and Mongoose extensions, design REST/ION BOD integrations, ensure data integrity across PLM/MES/HRIS, tune performance, and provide escalation-level support.

Impulse Space was founded under the belief that getting access to space is only part of the job—if you want to get to orbit, you'll go with one of our partners, but if you want to get anywhere else in space, Impulse will take you there. We are building the transportation network for the inner solar system, and that requires an enterprise backbone capable of handling complex aerospace manufacturing with precision and speed.
Role Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Infor ERP Software Engineer to serve as the technical owner of our core business system. In this role, you will do more than just keep the lights on; you will architect the digital foundation of our manufacturing and financial operations. You will be responsible for the full-stack administration of our Infor ERP environment (LN/SyteLine) while leveraging InforOS to build advanced workflows and extensions. Crucially, you will design the API layer that exposes ERP data to our broader ecosystem, enabling stateless applications and microservices to interact seamlessly with our system of record.
Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage the health, security, and performance of the Infor ERP environment (CloudSuite Industrial/SyteLine or CloudSuite Aerospace & Defense/LN), including user provisioning, patching, and environment refreshing.
- InforOS Development: Design and develop using the Infor OS stack, specifically ION (Intelligent Open Network) for workflows and Mongoose/Tools for form personalization and extensibility.
- Stateless Integration Architecture: Build and expose RESTful APIs and ION BODs (Business Object Documents) that allow external, stateless applications to read/write ERP data without direct database coupling.
- Data Integrity & Automation: Create automated workflows to synchronize data between ERP and other enterprise systems (PLM, MES, HRIS), ensuring a "single source of truth" across the organization.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor system latency and optimize database queries/scripts to ensure high availability during peak manufacturing shifts.
- Technical Support: Act as the primary escalation point for complex ERP technical issues, debugging backend logic and coordinating with Infor support when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of technical experience supporting Infor ERP systems (Infor LN or Infor SyteLine/CSI).
- Strong proficiency with InforOS components, specifically ION, ION API, and Ming.le.
- Demonstrated experience creating integrations that support stateless architecture (REST APIs, JSON payloads, async messaging).
- Demonstrated experience with SQL server management, T-SQL scripting, and performance optimization.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements from Finance and Supply Chain stakeholders into technical solutions.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of technical experience supporting Infor ERP systems (Infor LN or Infor SyteLine/CSI).
- Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry dealing with project-based manufacturing.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft or similar middleware for orchestrating ERP connectivity.
- Knowledge of Infor Data Lake and Birst/Burst for advanced reporting.
- Experience migrating on-premise ERP environments to the multi-tenant cloud (CloudSuite).
- Understanding of SOX compliance requirements regarding ERP change management and security.
