We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Industrial and Employee Relations Advisor to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by providing expert advice and support on complex Industrial Relations (IR) and Human Resource (HR) matters.
About the role
Working closely with key stakeholders across the organisation, including Group Workforce and HR Business Partners, you will:
Provide strategic and operational advice on a broad range of complex IR and HR issues.
Manage casework, including performance management, grievance handling, and disciplinary matters.
Interpret awards, enterprise agreements, and employment legislation to guide management actions and decisions.
Lead negotiations and consultations with unions, employee representatives, and internal stakeholders.
Monitor emerging trends and legislative changes to recommend proactive strategies.
Develop and deliver IR/HR training programs to build leadership capability.
It is essential you have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of human resources, employee relations and industrial relations issues, along with experience in the interpretation and application of employment/industrial legislation, awards, agreements, policies and procedures.
To succeed, you will be passionate about the industry with a strong understanding of the intricacies of the environment, including a commitment in providing outstanding service and the capability of working autonomously and in collaboration with key stakeholders, to support and deliver results across all areas of the function.

We can offer you
Salary: $128,839 to $157,410 per annum, plus 12% superannuation
Part-time position, working three days (0.6FTE) per week initially, with the potential to increase to full-time hours

Skills Required
- Demonstrated knowledge of human resources, employee relations and industrial relations issues
- Experience interpreting and applying employment/industrial legislation, awards and enterprise agreements
- Experience managing casework including performance management, grievance handling and disciplinary matters
- Experience leading negotiations and consultations with unions and employee representatives
