Join Aprio's Information Technology team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities.  Aprio Advisory Group, LLC is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Implementation Specialist to join their dynamic team. 

The Senior Implementation Specialist is responsible for the hands-on setup, configuration, and implementation of accounting technology solutions—Focusing on Sage Intacct, and including NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar platforms—for Aprio’s internal client accounting services. This role works directly with Aprio teams and clients to ensure seamless onboarding, accurate data migration, and optimal platform configuration, supporting the delivery of high-quality accounting solutions across various technology stacks.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Setup & Platform Implementation
  • Configure new accounting system environments (e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar platforms) for Aprio clients, including chart of accounts, modules, and custom integrations.
  • Migrate client data into selected accounting platforms, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Aprio standards.
  • Establish and test connections with integrated systems (e.g., expense management, bill payment, invoicing platforms) as part of the implementation process.
  • Participate in client onboarding calls to define configuration needs, technical integrations, and project timelines.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting
  • Address technical issues during implementation, including data sync problems, integration errors, and system configuration challenges.
  • Monitor dashboards and activity logs to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Respond to internal helpdesk tickets and support requests related to accounting system implementations.
  • Documentation & Process Improvement
  • Maintain and update implementation templates, documentation, and requirements for accounting platforms and related integrations.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for platform setup and configuration.
  • Assist in standardization and templatization of client segments for consistent delivery.
  • Release Management & Communication
  • Review release documentation for accounting platforms and communicate relevant changes, updates, or new features to internal teams and clients. 
  • Demo and Prospect Support
  • Conduct demos and trainings for prospective clients or internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Automation Project Support
  • Support automation initiatives by facilitating cross-team collaboration, gathering requirements, and testing new processes.
  • Training & Enablement
  • Provide training and walkthroughs for Aprio staff and clients on system navigation, reporting, and platform features.
  • Support knowledge transfer and documentation for ongoing client success.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Work with project teams to communicate status updates, open items, and next steps for ongoing implementations.
  • Research and recommend new marketplace offerings and integration solutions to enhance client and staff experience.
  • User & Data Management
  • Assist with user management within the technology stack, ensuring appropriate access and data integrity.
  • Perform regular spot checks on system activity logs to identify and resolve errors. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or related field preferred. Hands-on experience with implementation and configuration of accounting systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar platforms).
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and clients.
  • Experience with financial system integrations and data migration is a major plus.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and process improvement.
