Preferred Qualifications
Background in Supply Chain, Commercial and Distribution outcomes, Engineering or a related field
Demonstrated experience leading or supporting process optimization and transformation initiatives
Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement experience
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to evaluate multiple strategic paths and translate strategy into actionable plans for leadership
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
Job Summary
Leads the design, planning and execution of complex implementation initiatives that drive business transformation and operational excellence. Oversees project research, data analysis and process documentation to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and aligned with strategic objectives.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Generates actionable insights to drive process improvement/creation, inform decision-making and optimization of implementation standards. Formulates strategy and execution recommendations required for successful implementation initiatives.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive project documentation, including workflows, process maps and playbooks to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Monitors project performance against key milestones, deliverables and KPIs. Prepares executive-level reports and insights for leadership.
- Partners cross-functionally with business, technical and operational teams to gather requirements, align priorities and ensure seamless execution of implementation initiatives.
- Proactively identifies risks, dependencies and process gaps; recommends and drives corrective action to maintain project momentum.
- Facilitates implementation communications, including stakeholder updates, meeting summaries and post-launch reviews, ensuring alignment across all levels of the organization.
- Leads post-implementation assessments to capture lessons learning, measure performance and define continuous improvement opportunities.
- May mentor or guide junior analysts in project management best practices, data interpretation and documentation standards.
Nature and Scope
- Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.
- Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to the expected results. Determines and develops an approach to solutions. Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues.
- May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. Contributes to employees' professional development but does not have hiring or firing authority.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
