Phillips Lytle has an excellent reputation and a roster of high-profile clients including Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies in industries such as telecommunications, technology, energy, nanotechnology, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences.
The Immigration Practice Team seeks to hire a senior attorney (New York City) with eight or more years of experience to support its national practice with experience handling the complexities of visa and permanent residency applications on behalf of U.S. companies and their foreign national workforce with employment-based green cards, employment-based non-immigrant visas, H-1Bs, L-1s, O-1s, E-1, E-2, E-3, matters arising under the U.S. Mexico-Canada America (USMCA) Free Trade Agreement (TNs) or other laws governing ports of entry to the United States. A successful applicant should have superior written, oral and analytic abilities, deep knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations and policies, and the ability to provide advisory and other services, including managing client deliverables, preparing foreign nationals for visa and consulate interviews, responding to audits, providing I-9 guidance, dealing with federal administrative court matters, resolving border problems and preparing relevant filings. Portable business and experience managing client relationships and mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and specialized paralegals is preferred.

Annual salary range for this position is $200,000-$350,000.
Actual pay may be adjusted based on location, experience, volume and nature of portable business, or other job-related factors permitted by law.

Skills Required
