Job Description

Purpose

Perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities (3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPI’s. Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business processes. Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Design build and support complex SDN networks based on Cisco (ACI) and Juniper (Apstra) Networks components.
• Development of a network and migration concept from traditional network to a SDN network structure.
• Perform project work from concept to implementation in Cloud environments
• Complex analysis of large networks.
• 3rd level support for operation teams.
• Security engineering and consulting.
• Development and set-up of a Cloud network design.
• Planning and choice of the network components needed (e.g. in the context of projects).
• Solicitation of quotations.
• Set-up, maintenance and configuration of the individual components.
• A good knowledge of authentication and logging architecture as well as DNS
• Routing and implementation of routing protocols
• Set-up and extraction of customers dedicated and shared network areas.
• Documentation and allocation of subnetworks or individual IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• have education in Information technologies – Master’s degree,
• have knowledge of the ITIL processes,
• are experienced in administration of huge SDN LAN/WAN Networks (spine/leaf) and of the set-up of routers, switches and firewalls in combination with Loadbalancers,
• have reliable knowledge of Farbic design and structure, Loadbalancers, Firewalls Radius, Tacacs and LDAP,
• have experience with Traffic Shaping solutions,
• have experience with configuration, maintenance, updates and security management of network and server components,
• have excellent and state-of-the-art knowledge and practical knowledge of UNIX/LINUX operating system,
• have experience with issuing tenders for hardware and software procurement,
• are cooperative, task-orientated and have matter-of -fact way of working,
• have good communication skills, presentation skills and negotiation skills,
• speak English - Upper intermediate (B2).

Certification

• CISCO CCIE or comparable certificates
• Specialised knowledge of Cisco (ACI) or Juniper (Apstra) (certificates on training/courses are obligatory)

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1850€ /brutto.
