As Senior IC Test Engineer you will create innovative test strategies for next generation of Battery Management System ICs

Your responsibilities

The rise of low-carbon vehicles is a major revolution in which NXP is taking a leadership position. The increasing complexity of products and the market targets in term of cost, quality and development cycle time, make the test and reliability steps a major challenge for the success of a project. The candidate will join a team in charge of developing the third generation of smart battery controllers for the automotive market.

After a learning phase on product features and the laboratory environment and tools, the candidate will focus on:

• Deep understanding of IC design architecture to define the best test strategy
• Define adequate DfT features to enable full test coverage
• Define test sequence for both IC validation and industrialization
• Develop and validate test packages for wafer test and final test
• Demonstrate test coverage consistency and reliability of test results
• Ensure robustness of test solutions at optimized cost
• Secure volume ramp-up delivering zero defect to customer

Your team

You will join a team of 20+ engineers (test, DfT and product engineering) focused on developing test solutions for advanced Battery Management ICs. BMS segment is one of the key R&D priorities for the company in the coming years to enable the transition to electrical and autonomous vehicles. This team is strongly connected to a full ecosystem of product definers, designers, application engineers, etc… as we strongly believe that test engineering is essential in a new IC creation, starting from the early stages.

As a senior test engineer, you will influence up to the IC content to deliver products with the best quality, the highest performance at an optimized test cost.

Your profile

Coming from Master or PhD in electronics or micro-electronics, you master the following technical knowledges and soft skills

• Analog and digital electronics ( Cadence tools )
• Design for Test, BiST
• Programming language like C ++, Java, Python,..
• Metrology, measurement accuracy, statistics
• 10+ years of experience developing mixed signal IC test solution on industrial test platform (ATE), preferably Advantest 93K
• ATE load board design and validation, both wafer test and final test
• Experience with semiconductor testing tools and mass volume production processes
• Experience with cross functional teams and good communication skills to operate in a global environment with multiple partners around the globe
• Fluent in English language both oral and written
