The Senior Human Resources Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, high-impact initiatives within the Human Resources portfolio. This role partners closely with HR leadership, the Portfolio & Project Manager, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive the successful delivery of enterprise-wide HR programs and projects.
This position requires strong HR domain experience combined with proven experience managing large-scale, highly visible, and complex projects. The ideal candidate brings disciplined project management practices, sound business judgment, and the ability to navigate ambiguity within a dynamic, fast-paced organization.
This role is located at our Arden Hills, MN Corporate Headquarters (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week)
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, high-risk, and high-visibility HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise and HR strategic priorities.
Translate project charters into clear project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and measurable outcomes.
Drive execution excellence across multiple workstreams, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality commitments are met.
Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating with clear insights and recommendations.
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations, IT, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to deliver integrated solutions.
Facilitate alignment, decision-making, and accountability across senior stakeholders.
Support change management and adoption planning to ensure sustained outcomes.
Provide project management consultation to build capability and maturity within HR.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
7–10 years of progressive project management experience, including leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
5+ years of experience within Human Resources (e.g., HR operations, HR Technology, HR Shared Services, or COE’s).
Demonstrated experience leading HR technology or vendor-implemented solutions.
Strong executive communication skills and the ability to influence senior leaders in complex environments.
$107,680-$161,520. In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges.
