Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for the day-to-day operational side of human capital including performance management, onboarding, compensation, and benefits administration
- Diving into strategies related to human capital, being able to understand the why to communicate to the team.
- Working with the team to deliver performance feedback and coaching team members to the next level. Having a deep understanding of career pathing and performance plans.
- Work with all compliance areas including 5500, audits, and required tax filings.
- Have an in-depth understanding of payroll and related components.
- Assist with expansion into new states.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to manage- prior leadership experience overseeing 1-2 staff is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
• High level of customer service.
• Positive attitude and a ‘can do’ approach to the position and ability to work autonomously.
Education and Experience:
• 8-10 years of experience in human resources a, with a strong preference for client service experience in a professional services organization.
• Strong experience with benefits, 401K, onboarding and performance reviews.
• Preferred to have obtained PHR or SHRM.
• Strong proficiency with Paylocity and MS Office tools on Widows platform: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, preferred.
• UKG and Perform Yard is a plus!
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Travel will be 5%-1%5 of the time when necessary.
