Position Summary
Provides strategic human resources guidance and supports the organization by developing and improving processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and fostering a positive employee experience.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provides support and guidance on various human resource matters, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, talent development, and related areas.
- Leads process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Manages employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and recommending appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborates with business partners to implement human resources programs and initiatives across the enterprise.
- Drives employee engagement initiatives and fosters a positive work environment.
- Advises on the interpretation of policies and supports organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Analyzes and generates reports in support of human resources metrics and analytics.
- Resolves escalated human resources issues across the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
- 5+ years of human resources experience.
- 5+ years of transportation industry experience.
