The Role

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will work directly with the CHRO, the Head of Talent Acquisition, and the core leadership team to build the people foundation that lets kAIgentic’s intelligence layer scale. You will solve the hardest problems in building a high-performance, AI-native culture, designing people systems that use AI natively, and standing up the early-career talent engine that powers our next phase of growth.

This is a role for a hands-on, systems-thinking HR professional who wants to do more than run processes. You will translate our values of customer obsession, courage, care, and curiosity into how the company actually operates, and you will partner with our tech team to shape AI-first people systems where the work is real and directly tied to how kAIgentic grows.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and scale a high-performance, AI-native culture rooted in our values of customer obsession, courage, care, and curiosity, and launch programs that bring those values to life every day.

  • Translate mission and principles into daily operating norms: decision rights, feedback mechanisms, and leadership behaviors that match our growth phase.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to design and embed AI-native HR workflows, including performance review, listening mechanisms, AI-assisted policy Q&A, and people analytics summaries, into how HR operates.

  • Design lightweight performance and feedback rhythms suited to a high-bar, low-politics, early-stage environment.

  • Lay the analytics foundation. Implement HRIS, build simple dashboards, and ensure clean, reliable people data.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to sharpen our employer brand and Employee Value Proposition, build a champion community of employees who tell our story externally, and collaborate on content and social campaigns.

  • Build the end-to-end early-career talent engine: target institutions, role design, internships, fellowships, live projects, and case challenges, with structured 0-to-1 learning paths so freshers contribute to real work from week one.

  • Own the lifecycle moments that shape employee experience: onboarding, manager connects, performance reviews, career conversations, and exits.

  • Drive the annual performance review cycle for India leaders across Engineering, Product, and Customer Success.

  • Build engagement mechanisms such as pulse checks, team connects, and recognition forums, and translate employee signal into practical actions with managers and leaders.

  • Partner with managers to spot early signs of friction, disengagement, or manager-effectiveness gaps, and resolve them with speed and maturity.

  • Manage grievances with fairness, confidentiality, and judgment. Stand up the Grievance Committee and POSH foundation.

  • Work with external partners (search firms, legal, payroll / PEO, advisors) to continuously improve the experience of core HR operations.

What You’ll Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in HR, with a strong mix of Talent Acquisition and HR business partnering or people operations.

  • AI-native velocity as a default mode of working (mandatory). Curious about how AI-native workflows can make HR sharper, faster, and fairer, and willing to learn by doing.

  • Proven experience partnering with Product and Engineering leaders and driving engagement of senior tech talent in product / SaaS, fintech, consulting, or high-growth tech startups where the bar for talent and pace is high.

  • Hands-on experience setting up or significantly improving HR processes, policies, and tools in a lean environment.

  • High ownership bias. You see gaps, propose solutions, and run them to the ground.

  • Comfort working directly with founders and senior leaders, including pushing back thoughtfully using data and judgment.

  • Energized by complex domains even when you are not yet an expert, with a track record of learning quickly.

  • Sound judgment, discretion, and fairness in handling sensitive employee matters.
