The Role
Job Description

The Senior HubSpot Administrator I is a critical contributor responsible for architecting scalable CRM infrastructure and enabling revenue-driving capabilities through robust system design and cross-functional collaboration. This role orchestrates the end-to-end customer data lifecycle within HubSpot, from developing and optimizing custom objects, workflows, and integration strategies to implementing governance standards and ensuring high data availability. Leveraging expertise in software engineering practices and scripting languages (e.g., HubL, JSON, Python), this role will build automated pipelines and performant data structures that empower Sales and Marketing stakeholders to access reliable data for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, building, and maintaining a scalable HubSpot architecture (custom objects, workflows, automations, and data models) capable of supporting rapid organizational growth
  • Leading the integration of HubSpot with other platforms in the Sales stack, ensuring seamless data flow across the entire customer journey and utilizing advanced scripting (e.g., APIs, JSON, HubL) where necessary
  • Developing custom UI extensions (using tools like React, JSON, or HubL) to enhance the user interface and extend native CRM functionality beyond out-of-the-box limitations
  • Continuously auditing system performance, eliminating inefficiencies, and optimizing automation to drive sales and marketing alignment
  • Monitoring API usage limits, query latency, and integration health, performing root cause analysis on sync errors to ensure high availability and system reliability
  • Automating manual processes across sales and marketing to increase speed, consistency, and accuracy, moving beyond ad-hoc fixes to reusable, version-controlled system components
  • Collaborating with Marketing and Sales leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions that improve pipeline management and campaign effectiveness
  • Maintaining clean, reliable data across all connected systems by implementing governance processes and automated data quality frameworks to protect system integrity
  • Developing advanced reporting and dashboarding to deliver actionable insights that inform strategy and optimize decision-making
  • Monitoring and evaluating HubSpot updates and new features, developing an adoption roadmap that positions the organization at the forefront of marketing automation innovation
  • Managing operational support by triaging and resolving technical issues raised in internal channels, functioning as the primary escalation point for CRM infrastructure outages

Requirements

  • Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Marketing)
  • 4-7 years of professional experience in CRM management, with demonstrated experience in system architecture and data modeling
  • Advanced HubSpot certifications (including HubSpot Admin Bootcamp and Operations Hub Software) with a demonstrated ability to design scalable, automated systems
  • Expert-level understanding of HubSpot automation, integrations, and reporting
  • Experience with API integrations and scripting languages (e.g., AWS, Python, JavaScript/HubL) for data analysis and automation
  • Proven ability to design and build robust data models that support business intelligence and analytics use cases
  • Strong communicator and collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  •
  • Preferred:
  • Proven experience managing CRM systems during periods of rapid organizational growth.
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or external databases (e.g., Snowflake, PostgreSQL).
  • Creative problem solver who can balance strategy with hands-on execution
