Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior HSE Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to assist the Director Safety/Quality Assurance in the establishment and implementation of a job safety programs. Supervises the program to identify and eliminate or control hazards to persons or property at each facility. Represents the Program in all safety matters pertaining to internal and external activities. Monitors Program safety performance and conducts facility safety inspections and audits.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Performs safety functions within the scope of the job safety program and within the limits of his capability
- erforms accidents record analysis, and issues reports on a regularly scheduled basis
- Monitors the safety performance of all employees, or in respect to one or more functions of the job safety program
- May perform non-safety functions; however, safety duties are given a greater priority than non-safety functions
- Conducts safety audits through review and analysis of performance of safety records and safety inspections of facilities in compliance with SHARP Management
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelors in Health or Safety related field, or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Requires knowledge of Federal and state health and safety regulations and reporting procedures
