effectively implement all HSE critical processes & Integrated Safe Systems

Duties
& Responsibilities
- Provide
overall coordination of the HSE program and drive the desired HSE culture to
reach Organization's goal of Zero HSE incidents within the Technical Division
(TD)
- Facilitate
review of all project-related HSE and Work Procedures, coordinate the site HSE
activities with HSE Advisors/Contractor’s HSE Manager/Officers, and ensure that
they discharge their roles dutifully. In addition, collate HSE reports from the
HSE Advisors and report the same to the Line/Head HSE Technical and the relevant
Project Team.
- Drive
the implementation of an ISO 45001 and HSSE Control Framework compliant,
Technical Division (TD) HSE Management System (HSE-MS) and HSE procedures in
all activities within the Project location with the ultimate objective of
ensuring no harm to people and no impact to the environment.
- Support
the implementation of HSE tools and techniques at the activity areas and
consistently manage Personal Safety Risks to As Low As Reasonably Practicable
(ALARP), preventing harm to personnel.
- Ensure
that all other HSE processes – Meetings, Audit/Inspections, Drills, Trainings,
Incident Reporting/Investigation, etc., are being adhered to in accordance with
Project HSE Clause in Contract, Construction Site Safety Standardization (CSSS)
& IOGP/577 and legislated standards for Health, Safety, and Environment.
- Ensure
consistent planning, implementation, documentation/tracking of Project/Contractor
HSE Plan activities during the execution phase.
- Ensure
implementation of an effective HSE Management System & risk controls and
provide complete HSE support to the Client’s Project Delivery Team to enable the
Execution and Projects contractors effectively implement Integrated Safe
Systems of Work (ISSoW).
- Support
the Implementation of Environmental Management mitigation measures and
environmental protection methods for the project, according to local laws, EIA,
and contract requirements.
- Work
closely with the Project Management Team on implementation of the Project to
enhance the management of personnel health and safety (employees, contractors,
and the public), which is critical to continuous improvement in HSE
performance.
- Organizes and issues daily/weekly/monthly HSE
reports as required.
- Prepare and perform scheduled audits/inspections to
identify opportunities for improvement for TD.
- Support Client Project significant HSE incident owners in ensuring that investigated
incidents are reviewed at divisional LIRP in line with established corporate
procedure and learnings are laterally applied and shared in the project
interface teams to prevent re-occurrence or similar situations from leading to
harm to people or environment or damage to assets.

- Professional
qualifications: International General Certificate in Occupational Health and
Safety (IGC)/NEBOSH General Certificate and NISP HSE Competency Level 3, with Relevant Professional certifications are an added

Experience

of ten (10) years’ cognate relevant work experience in a reputable Oil and Gas
organization
Seasoned HSE Projects professional with broad
experience in oil and gas processing
Experience with HSE risk aspects (ALARP Demonstration)
