Job Summary
As a Senior HRIS Analyst, your day will begin by helping support our iCIMS platform while also serving as the lead technical person for the recruiting implementation in Workday. You'll be deeply involved in project management for this implementation-coordinating meetings, leading large groups, and managing the backlog to keep the project on track. A significant part of your role will be influencing the configuration and design of Workday to ensure best practices are followed, balancing technical expertise with strategic decision-making. Early on, your responsibilities will be heavy on both project management and technical Workday expertise, but as the implementation progresses, your focus will shift more toward deepening your Workday knowledge and providing ongoing technical leadership. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee system processes, and ensure data integrity, all while driving improvements and supporting the organization's HR technology goals. Your ability to prioritize, communicate, and build relationships will be key to your success in this dynamic and impactful role. While this position is fully remote, we will prioritize candidates who are able to work effectively within the Central Time Zone to ensure strong collaboration and alignment with our core team and project schedules.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Support iCIMS platform and assist with transition planning.
  • Serve as the lead technical person for the Workday recruiting implementation.
  • Manage project timelines, coordinate meetings, and lead large groups during implementation.
  • Influence configuration and design decisions to ensure best practices in Workday.
  • Manage backlog and prioritize tasks to support implementation goals.
  • Transition into deeper technical expertise in Workday post-implementation.
  • Serve as a business analyst for Talent & Culture data, ensuring systems are structured to support business needs.
  • Develop and maintain a data dictionary and role-based security documentation, and use these tools to build Talent dashboards.
  • Oversee daily administration of the HRIS to ensure effective processes, data accuracy, and system security.
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to align HRIS design with changes in benefits, organizational structure, and compensation.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for HR systems (e.g., Workday, iCIMS, LMS), ensuring systems are streamlined, integrated, and aligned with business needs.
  • Partner with IT (I3T) to automate data flows and maintain integration audits.
  • Develop procedures for updating, validating, and correcting HR data across systems, including managing electronic data feeds.
  • Create end-user documentation and training materials as needed.
  • Establish and manage audit processes to ensure data integrity and support effective reporting and analysis.
  • Create standard and complex reports to meet ongoing business and compliance needs (e.g., Affirmative Action, EEO, FLSA, COBRA, FMLA).
  • Provide data summaries and statistical insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Recommend system enhancements and manage implementation projects to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Manage system contracts and renewals in collaboration with IT (I3T).
  • Monitor and maintain connection files, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Review and update files during open enrollment or system changes, evaluating risk in partnership with IT.
  • Support process documentation efforts across the Talent & Culture team. Use Visio to create and maintain process maps related to core responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
