This role is currently based at our Minneapolis office and will transition to our new headquarters in Dayton, MN, in 2027.  

The Senior HR Information Systems Analyst will help drive the strategic direction of the HRIS function, offering expert guidance on technology development, deployment, and support. This role involves overseeing the enhancement and upgrading of HR applications through comprehensive needs analysis and strategic project planning. Responsibilities include leading testing processes, consulting with users for needs assessment, recommending process improvements, and implementing advanced solutions. This position also serves as a liaison between Information Technology, Senior Leadership and Human Resources.

What You Will Do at Graco

  • Lead work with HRBPs, COEs and other stakeholders to learn and understand project and enhancement requests based on department and business needs. Propose, develop, test and implement globally aligned solutions using HR technology.
  • Understand current business landscape and proactively propose HR technology solutions.  
  • Act as a senior escalation point for HRMS system issues and complex troubleshooting scenarios, providing expert guidance and resolution.
  • Oversee and ensure the integrity, security, and compliance of data within the Workday platform, maintaining the highest standards of privacy and regulatory adherence.
  • Lead Workday release activities by evaluating the impact of new functionalities, identifying opportunities for optimization, and adjusting departmental strategies and roadmaps accordingly.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary on most complex Workday modules.
  • Stay up to date on the latest HR technology trends and educate the broader global HR team of these trends and how to use them. Propose new system solutions to meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards utilizing Workday, PowerBI or other reporting tools. Present key findings from monthly HR Dashboard to the executive leadership team.
  • Employ robust project management skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality documentation and communication of project milestones, scope adjustments and status updates.
  • Mentor and train HRIS Analysts and HR Operations employees
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring to Graco

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent education and experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in HR technology or HRIS administration
  • Experience configuring Workday or other HRM System
  • Strong attention to details and analytical skills with the ability to see a project through from beginning to end
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and timelines.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation.  If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience.  In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees.  Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role.  Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.

$75,000.00 - $131,200.00
