The HR Function is embarking on a major transformation programme to optimize HR services and modernise the HR technology platforms providing a great employee and manager experience.

To support this journey, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Technology Transformation & Transition Manager to lead the technology workstream required to successfully transform HR systems, processes, data and service delivery capabilities across multiple European markets.

This role will play a critical position within the programme, ensuring new HR technologies, operating models and HR services are implemented successfully with minimal business disruption.

Role Purpose

The Senior HR Technology Transformation & Transition Manager is accountable for planning, coordinating and delivering all technology-related activities supporting the HR Transformation programme.

The role will lead the transition from the current operating model to the future-state HR service model, encompassing:

  • HR technology transformation
  • Service transition and operational readiness
  • System migrations and integrations
  • Vendor and partner selection (including business case) and management
  • HR data migration and governance
  • Business readiness and change management
  • Cross-functional programme Delivery

The successful candidate will ensure HR services, technologies, support teams and third-party providers are fully prepared for go-live, transition and long-term operational success.

The role requires strong leadership across complex stakeholder groups including HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Legal, External Vendors and Market Leadership Teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a multi-country HR technology transformation programme.
  • Own programme scope, budget, timeline, resources and delivery.
  • Establish governance structures and steer decision-making forums.
  • Align HR, IT, Operations, Procurement and external partners.
  • Lead HRIS/HCM, Talent Management and Payroll technology initiatives.
  • Manage HR technology implementation and optimisation projects.
  • Oversee system integrations and solution delivery.
  • Support business process redesign and standardisation.
  • Ensure solutions meet business, security and compliance requirements.
  • Define and execute operational readiness plans.
  • Lead go-live, hypercare and service transition activities.
  • Establish support models and operational governance.
  • Manage system integrators, software vendors and service providers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and contractual commitments.
  • Lead data migration, validation and governance activities.
  • Ensure GDPR and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive change management, training and user adoption.
  • Manage programme risks, dependencies, budget and reporting.
  • Track benefits realisation and business outcomes.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and act as a trusted transformation advisor.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of project or programme management experience.
  • Significant experience delivering enterprise-wide technology transformation programmes.
  • Experience implementing or transforming HR Technology platforms such as Oracle HCM, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG, Cornerstone or similar.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors, system integrators and delivery partners.
  • Experience delivering multi-country programmes.
  • Experience managing operational readiness, service transition and go-live activities.
  • Strong understanding of data migration approaches and governance.
  • Experience managing executive stakeholders and governance forums.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, Prince2 Practitioner or equivalent project certification.
  • Agile certification (Scrum Master, SAFe or equivalent).
  • Experience within healthcare, life sciences or other regulated environments.
