Supports the administration and continuous improvement of employee benefits programs. Manages key benefits processes such as open enrollment, employee education, lifecycle events, while ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining documentation and audit readiness. Analyzes utilization, costs, and trends to support budgeting and leadership decision-making, and provides bilingual communication and guidance to employees and stakeholders to enhance the overall employee experience.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
1. Supports the design, implementation, and enhancement of benefits programs, including self-funded and self-billed plans.
2. Supports market benchmarking and cost analysis to maintain competitive positioning.
3. Leads benefits events, including open enrollment and employee education initiatives, maintains support materials to improve benefits understanding and utilization.
4. Partners with department leadership to align benefits strategy with organizational goals and workforce needs.
5. Leads day-to-day benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
6. Partners with benefit vendors to resolve escalations.
7. Ensures seamless execution of benefits lifecycle events (new hires, qualifying life events, terminations).
8. Maintains and optimizes benefits processes within Workday, ensuring system accuracy and reporting integrity.
9. Ensures compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, local labor laws).
10. Maintains program documentation, policies, and audit readiness.
11. Monitors regulatory changes and recommends necessary program updates.
12. Delivers clear, engaging, and effective benefits communications in both Spanish and English.
13. Provides subject matter expertise and guidance to employees and stakeholders.
14. Acts as a strong advocate for employee experience and accessibility.
15. Tracks and analyzes benefits utilization, costs, and trends.
16. Supports budgeting, forecasting, and cost-containment strategies.
17. Provides data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership.
18. Performs other duties and tasks as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong specialization in benefits.
• Hands-on experience managing self-funded and/or self-billed benefit plans.
• Experience leading open enrollment and benefits education programs.
• Strong working knowledge of Workday (benefits administration and reporting).
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
• Strong knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
