Job Description
As a Senior HR Generalist you will act as a trusted advisor for employees and managers, addressing and resolving issues and providing strategic partnership. The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for a variety of Human Resources tasks and programs, including advising people managers on the execution of performance management, coaching, corrective action issues, team building, employee development and compliance programs. Through collaboration with the extended global HR team, you will enable both organizational objectives and employee well-being. You will report to our HR Director GSM Americas.
Your Responsibilities:
- Business Partnership
- Establish partnership with the teams to guide organizational effectiveness while implementing HR programs
- Work with key stakeholders and provide HR guidance across the organization to develop a understanding of the business and employee's needs.
- Provide advice and implementation of HR policies including the following areas – Employment Legislation, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Performance Management, Recruitment, Workforce Planning, Rewards Strategies and Employee Engagement
- Understand needs and partner with leaders to achieve their goals.
- Ensure business has the skills, competency, structure and rewards to achieve short- and long- term priorities
- Partner with business leaders
- Partner with HR colleagues, COEs, HR Services, and business leaders to create focus on our goals, including delivery of organizational effectiveness and workforce planning.
- Identify the need for policies, programs, and actions to support/ achieve our goals.
- Assess talent and ensure a solid pipeline in place.
- Ensure high level of leadership capability in the businesses and functions.
- Workforce Planning
- Establish clear understanding of the hiring requirements of the Teams.
- Assess our talent needs based on our goals
- Analyze workforce trends and anticipate skill gaps
- Promote diversity in hiring practices to build a more inclusive workforce
- Lead efficient decisions through leveraging HR technology and automation opportunities - both within the HR team and with leaders
The Essentials- you will have:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred- you might also have:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of broad, HR generalist experience
- Strong written and oral English communications skills, and strong influencing capabilities.
- PHR OR SPHR Certification
- Theoretical knowledge of HR processes including performance management, coaching, conflict resolution, team building, employee development and facilitation.
