The Senior HR Generalist is a critical member of the HR Business Partner team and will provide hands on support on a wide range of employee success parameters. Leveraging solid HR expertise and proficiency in general talent management responsibilities, the Senior HR Generalist ensures the timely and accurate execution of HR responsibilities, fostering an environment conducive to organizational growth. This is a critical role in executing our talent initiatives, applying a customer first approach, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Business Partner Support
- Forms effective relationships with HRBPs and client groups, consults with people managers providing people guidance, when appropriate.
- Works closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Typically supports first-line through senior manager levels.
- Executes on company-wide talent management programs, including annual compensation, performance reviews, and talent reviews. May provide tactical support on these programs.
- Engages with HRBPs and Employee Relations on basic employee relations issues.
- Learns legal requirements related to day-today management of team members, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Liaises with internal stakeholders, including all functions within People and Culture, Finance, Payroll, and other key internal stakeholders.
- Gathers data to aid in trend analysis and gains insight to contribute to solutions, programs, and opportunities for learning.
- Schedules and conducts exit interviews leveraging insights and trends to make recommendations.
Operations Support
- Maintains data integrity in Workday related to employment lifecycle changes to include hires, terminations, position management, job profile creation, reporting, other related tasks.
- Distributes termination and offboarding materials, ensures personal items are shipped to terminated associates (as needed)
- Collaborates with HRIS and HR Business Partner teams on systems testing for new releases in Workday.
Site-Specific Support
- Provides New Hire Onboarding Support and run new hire connect programs locally.
- When necessary, ensures all GTM new hires have provided compliance documents and cleared any pending onboarding tasks.
- Collaborates with functional experts to coordinate regional employee events.
- Manages HRBP Region Site ensuring content is up to date.
- Assists with India visits from executive team, agenda, and plan of activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role in Human Resources.
- B.S. Degree in related discipline preferred.
- 2+ years of experience with HRIS systems (Workday highly preferred).
- PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
- Intermediate technical skills, including MS Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be a self-starter, eager to learn, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Demonstrates discretion and sound judgment while working with sensitive and confidential information.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate with all levels of staff and clients.
- A team player who acts with a sense of urgency and adapts to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Ability to solve problems of basic complexity; resourceful and takes initiative to seek internal and external resources and support when problem-solving.
- Results driven; able to deliver projects (start to finish) and results in a timely manner.
