About the role:
The Senior HR Business Partner serves as the primary HR partner for Divcon's field operations, partnering closely with Operations leaders to deliver strategic and hands-on Human Resources support across the employee lifecycle. This role is responsible for leading complex employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, organizational development, and manager coaching while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Beyond employee relations, this role plays a key part in building scalable HR programs, leadership resources, training materials, and processes that strengthen manager capability and improve organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in handling sensitive employee matters independently, thrives in fast-paced construction environments, and is comfortable traveling to field locations to support leaders and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Investigations
- Serve as the primary HR partner supporting field operations.
- Independently manage complex employee relations matters.
- Conduct workplace investigations and prepare detailed findings and recommendations.
- Coach managers through performance management process.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices.
- Build trusted relationships with field leaders through regular site visits.
Performance Management & Leadership Coaching
- Partner with leaders to improve employee performance and accountability.
- Coach managers on difficult conversations and leadership best practices.
- Support succession planning and talent development initiatives.
- Facilitate calibration discussions and performance review processes.
Organizational Development & HR Programs
- Design and implement HR programs that support business growth.
- Create manager toolkits, SOPs, templates, training materials, and HR resources.
- Develop leadership training focused on performance management, coaching, employee engagement, and compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
HR Operations & Organizational Support

Physical Requirements
