In this role, you’ll provide full‑spectrum HR support to your districts — including employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment, leader coaching, and organizational change. You will draw on deep HR experience to effectively navigate high‑impact or sensitive situations.

You’ll partner with our Strategic Recruitment team to ensure your hiring activities align with established best practices and recruitment standards, and you’ll collaborate with HR Program and Policy teams to support broader initiatives across talent, total rewards, employee relations, and HR technology.

This role includes travel to district locations to build strong, in‑person relationships and provide hands‑on support.

  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to leaders, supporting effective decision‑making and strong team performance

  • Own and lead employee relations matters, providing balanced, risk‑aware guidance in high‑impact and sensitive situations

  • Leverage data, insights, and workforce trends to proactively identify risks and opportunities and inform business decisions

  • Work in partnership with leaders to align people priorities in support of business performance and growth

  • Support and drive workforce planning and organizational design activities, ensuring structure, capabilities, and talent align with current and future needs

  • Drive end‑to‑end recruitment for salaried roles, partnering with leaders to support informed hiring decisions aligned with workforce and organizational priorities

  • Collaborate with HR program and policy teams on broader initiatives
  • Champion a positive, inclusive, and values‑driven culture

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partnering in complex, multi-site or operational environments
  • Strong experience with HRIS/HRMS platforms and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Proven ability to advise and influence senior leaders, bringing credibility, confidence, and sound judgment.
  • Strong experience in organizational design, workforce planning, and change leadership
  • Demonstrated success navigating complex employee relations matters
  • High level of business acumen and the ability to connect people strategy to business outcomes
  • Experience using data and insights to inform decisions and tell a compelling story
  • Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and navigate ambiguity
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization
  • Commitment to building inclusive, high-performing, values-driven teams
  • Willingness to travel regularly to support district teams (approximately 20%)
  • CPHR designation
