Our Opportunity:

Chewy is growing! We are looking for a Senior Healthcare Analytics Manager to join our Healthcare Analytics Team. In this role, you will own end-to-end analytics for high-growth retail business lines: Compounding Pharmacy and Equine + Exotics. As the Analytics leader for these businesses, you will maximise all available data sources (catalog, clickstream, operations, customer feedback, financials) to deliver self-service analytics tooling and deep-dive analyses that drive actions yielding positive impact on the customer experience and financial P&L. You will partner with business General Managers, Product Managers, and Data Engineers to define and implement an analytics roadmap that helps these businesses continue to scale.


The ideal candidate is technically proficient – able to analyze large, diverse data sets, build self-service analytics tools and visualizations, and conduct deep analysis with actionable insights. Additionally, this individual is an independent operator, a highly effective collaborator across technology and business domains, a clear written and verbal communicator, and brings a demonstrated track record of delivering high quality impactful results.


What you'll do:

  • Lead insights generation by delivering analyses that use data to tell a story and offer recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Define and develop new KPIs and analytics frameworks to measure success and monitor progress against strategic business goals.
  • Build user-friendly reporting and dashboards for both internal and external customers.
  • Assess the data needs of the business and partner with technical teams to deliver proof of concepts and conduct QA/UAT on new data sources.
  • Create and continuously improve documentation and training materials.

What you'll need:

  • 6+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data science or similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience building and delivering self-service analytics tooling and in-depth analyses with quantifiable business impact.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, Tableau (or equivalent BI tool), and Excel. Python experience is a bonus.
  • Experience with e-commerce, omni-channel, or retail data (catalog, promotions, clickstream, fulfillment, customer feedback, etc.) and thorough understanding of business performance indicators and financial P&L.
  • Experience applying advanced analytics concepts (experiment design, A/B testing, statistics, etc.) to evaluate and improve business performance.
  • Demonstrated leadership, independence, cross-functional collaboration, and communication across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
