We are looking to hire a Senior Hardware Test Engineer who will work in the Test Solutions Group at NVIDIA developing manufacturing test solutions for Datacenter and Enterprise products. In this role, you will collaborate with other key hardware design teams help enable NVIDIA's next generation GPU and CPU based server products.

What you will be doing:

  • Define manufacturing hardware test solutions that translate into methodologies and processes applicable across Board and System product segments.

  • Develop test strategies for new product features including identification, specification, design and qualification of test fixtures and test equipment.

  • Write product architecture specifications for new designs and define system-level requirements and specifications for server products for ARM and x86 based solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to debug Board and System level issues, including HW Design, Quality, Software Development

  • Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technology and methodology to improve production efficiency.

  • Help solve deeper server system technical design level issues at every level.

  • Work with other highly experienced domain expert teams at NVIDIA to ensure manufacturing solutions are outstandingly optimized for the highest performance servers in the world.

  • Debug complex hardware and software issues during build phases.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 8+ years of proven experience in system-level design and integration of server products from concept to deployment.

  • Deep understanding of x86 and ARM system architecture for server design, PCIe, DDR and high-speed interconnects.

  • Solid understanding of BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) architecture, I2C (SMBus), security, power management and out-of-band management.

  • Deep understanding of dense data-center design including compute, storage and networking.

  • Familiarity with Linux OS and command line experience.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 152,000 USD - 247,250 USD for Level 4, and 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
