Purpose: We are seeking a Senior Analog / Electrical Engineer to join our Next Generation Product Development team within the Haifa Technology Incubator. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of system architecture, catheter-based devices, and rapid prototyping, within a fast-paced and multidisciplinary incubator environment.
The ideal candidate is a creative, hands-on engineer with deep experience in analog electronics and a strong passion for medical device innovation. This role involves translating advanced research concepts into robust, manufacturable solutions while addressing complex multidisciplinary challenges across the electronic domain. The position is well-suited for an innovative thinker who challenges conventional approaches and considers system-level implications of design decisions.
You will be responsible for:
Design, develop, and optimize analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, low-noise circuits, power management solutions, and power MOSFETs.
Create and maintain schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools (e.g., OrCAD, PSPICE).
Perform circuit simulations and analyses to validate performance, robustness, and reliability.
Apply advanced analog simulation techniques throughout the design cycle.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, algorithms, and manufacturing.
Explore, evaluate, and introduce emerging technologies for future product platforms.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in analog and mixed-signal design.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
B.Sc. or higher degree in Electrical Engineering (from a recognized university preferred).
At least 10 years of hands-on experience in complex electronic system development and PCB design.
Strong proficiency with circuit design and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, Altium, Cadence).
Solid foundation in analog circuit theory and practical implementation.
Proven experience in high-performance analog design and advanced PCB layout techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Inventive mindset with demonstrated experience in rapid prototyping, testing, and iteration.
Broad understanding of mechanical design principles, dynamics, materials, and electromechanical systems.
Experience with actuators (especially piezoelectric), sensors, or micro-mechanisms is a strong advantage.
Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and engineering simulation environments.
Strong documentation and technical writing skills; publications or patent experience is a plus.
Fluency in English.
