The Digital and Controls business unit is responsible for developing control and system management solutions for BDR products, including heat pumps, gas and electric boilers, solar solutions and cooling solutions. In modern control systems, digital, connectivity, IoT and data are crucial elements to achieve ambitious goals in developing customer-centric comfort climate solutions that also reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint.
As part of this ambition, we are expanding our existing hardware development team.
This is what we see as your role
As our Hardware Developer, you will develop, with the teams in place, reliable and sustainable electronics for our BDR Appliances Controls platform, accessories and IoT/Digital solutions.
You will be responsible for
- Drive the development of electronics products from design documentation, schematics design, PCB layout and validation
- Managing CAD component libraries and component databases
- Participate in concept and predevelopment activities including design of prototypes
- Carrying out functional tests on electronic boards
- Participating in EMC and RED tests
- Work together with electronics manufacturing partners to optimize the designs (DfX) and prepare for series production
Your knowledge, skills, experience and mindset include
· You are Customer focus.
· You are a good listener and have clear communication skills
· You have relevant technical knowledge (knowledge of industrial electronics, integration of wireless technologies and power supplies are a pre)
· You are known for having a global mindset, being proactive, flexible and organized.
· You have 8+ years experience in your area.
