We are looking for a Senior Manager, Growth Segment Marketing, who is passionate about marketing, driving sales success, and helping our broadband service provider customers provide exceptional experiences for their members.
In this role you will be responsible for developing the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, campaigns and activities for targeted Calix growth segments in the United States, including MSO/Cable Operators and competitive Overbuilders/Fiber ISPs. Based on your knowledge of the industry, competitors and domain expertise for these growth segments, you will craft the messaging and positioning, execute on go-to-market strategy, develop lead generation and prospect nurturing campaigns and provide marketing support for identified strategic customer opportunities. You're as comfortable driving strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves to work through messaging or represent your solutions at customer meetings or industry events.
The Senior Manager, Growth Segment Marketing, will be responsible for:

Developing market positioning and messaging that highlights Calix’ differentiated value

Sales enablement- communicate the segment marketing message and positioning to the sales team and develop the segment content that support the selling process for Calix solutions

Market intelligence- be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them

Demand generation- develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for the market segment in collaboration with our Demand Generation team

Be the face and voice of your segment within Calix and to the market, including Partners and Industry Associations

Evangelize the Calix solution and its benefits

Champion the Calix brand and boost demand of our solutions at segment specific events, in digital marketing, and via specific segment-focused customer programs

Develop customized content and present at customer meetings and industry events.

Author original digital and social media content including blogs, social posts, web, collateral, solution briefs, white papers, and assist with development of press releases
Qualifications:

15+ years of industry experience working in the broadband/telecom space

10+ years marketing to broadband service providers with at least 5+ years' experience in a field facing role

Adept at giving presentations, effective communication, with very strong written communication skills including technical marketing

Preferred experience working in the access broadband and managed wi-fi spaces, working for or selling/marketing to broadband service providers

Preferred experience working with and/or selling/marketing to Cable operators and Overbuilders

Bachelor’s in business or marketing

Willing to travel 25% (all within the US)

Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, Partners and customers/prospects.

Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education.

184,000.00 - 276,000.00 USD Annual
National Major Cities plus, CA, CO, NY Metro area:
160,000.00 - 240,000.00 USD Annual
Regional plus NY:
144,000.00 - 216,000.00 USD Annual
