Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and operationally proficient leader to join our Growth Marketing team as the Senior Growth Operations Manager. This role will act as the Chief of Staff to the VP of Growth, providing operational, analytical, and strategic support across all growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of growth operations & analytics, project management, and cross-functional coordination, enabling the marketing organization to operate efficiently and at scale.

As the Senior Growth Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in defining and executing the operational strategy for the Growth Marketing team. You will work closely with key stakeholders across Performance Marketing, Marketing Automation, SEO, Courier Marketing & B2B Marketing Teams to ensure seamless planning, analytical insights & execution of marketing campaigns, optimize processes, and enhance overall team performance. 

This role requires a strong ability to manage complex projects, drive alignment across various teams, and ensure that growth initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Operational Strategy: Develop, implement, and own the operational roadmap for the Growth Marketing team, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with business objectives and growth targets. Streamline processes and optimize workflows to increase efficiency across teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key liaison between the Growth Marketing team and cross-functional partners, including Growth Teams, Marketing Tech, Analytics, and Finance. Ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and resources to drive successful execution of growth initiatives.
  • Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of growth marketing campaigns and projects. Track milestones, manage timelines, and ensure that deliverables are met. Proactively identify potential bottlenecks and provide solutions to keep initiatives on track.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Collaborate with the Analytics and Data Science teams to gather insights, analyze performance, and provide recommendations for optimization. Use data to inform decision-making and continuously improve marketing operations.
  • Resource Allocation: Work closely with the VP of Growth to manage team resources effectively. Identify gaps in team capabilities and propose solutions, including hiring, training, or reallocating resources to ensure the team can meet its goals.
  • Process Optimization: Lead efforts to improve the governance and operational processes within the Growth Marketing team. Develop and implement best practices, training programs, and documentation to ensure that the team operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Strategic Insights and Leadership Support: Provide operational insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Support the VP of Growth & Other key leaders in preparing for key meetings, presentations, and decision-making processes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in operations, project management, or a Chief of Staff role, preferably within a growth or marketing function.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with a proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present operational strategies and insights to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in resource allocation, budgeting, and performance tracking to ensure efficiency and effective execution of growth marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent skills with analytical & data analysis with BI tools or Excel. SQL is a plus.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with external partners and internal stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Solutions-oriented and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
