Growth Marketing at Airbnb is at the intersection of marketing, data and technology. We are looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager supporting our Search Program. The ideal candidate is energetic and a self starter willing to dig in and own the foundations of our program. You can ramp up quickly and work effectively with little oversight and prioritize and manage your own work, clearly tying it to the goals of the larger team, and the business as a whole.

This Senior Growth Marketing Manager will report to the Growth Marketing Lead and be based remotely. They will be responsible for leading their regional campaigns and full-scale SEM initiatives from concept to completion, helping to raise the bar of expertise in our team.

Airbnb is looking for a senior growth marketing manager that will own a significant part of our growth marketing SEM program. With your expertise we will expand our current program and prepare for the future of both the industry and Airbnb. 

Candidates must demonstrate a clear understanding of SEM within Growth Marketing, and how Growth Marketing influences overall company growth.  Our ideal candidate has extensive experience owning SEM and other parts of the growth marketing funnel, and is a proven thought partner for cross functional and regional teams.


A Typical Day: 

  • Own the optimization and management of our paid search program across Google and Bing for your region, including structure & targeting improvements, keyword expansion, landing page testing and improvement of bid management processes.
  • Develop an effective optimization process to quickly identify and respond to changes in performance.
  • Proactively find new opportunities for growth and efficiency gains.
  • Pull and analyze reports to extract insights and transform those insights into actionable changes that will accelerate performance.
  • Research and leverage SEM industry trends and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate closely with teammates, sharing learnings regularly and applying proven tactics across the SEM program.
  • Communicate with the Growth Marketing Leadership Team - sharing performance, insights and new opportunities. 
  • Work closely with our regional partners to fully support regional goals.

Your Expertise:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience working at an in-house growth marketing team
  • Proficiency with SQL and Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, modeling)
  • A proven track record of owning end-to-end SEM management
  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect data to outcomes and strategic direction
  • Collaborative in approach and empathetic in nature
  • Strong written and verbal communication, able to translate technical concepts into easy to digest information
  • Organized and strong attention to detail
  • Take pride in understanding how your work contributes to the bigger picture

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
