The Difference You Will Make:As Growth Marketing Lead, you will help shape Airbnb’s growth strategy across EMEA, with a primary focus on Spain and Italy, by identifying opportunities, generating insights, and partnering with global and regional teams to deliver impact.
This role sits at the intersection of market insights, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. You will analyze performance data, identify regional opportunities, and work closely with regional channel owners and global teams to ensure campaigns, product capabilities, and marketing initiatives are optimized for local market needs.
Success in this role requires strong understanding of the Italian and Spanish markets, including differences in consumer behavior, culture, and platform usage, as well as the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies that global teams can execute across multiple countries.
Your Responsibilities:- Market Insights and Opportunity Identification: Analyze performance data, customer behavior, and market trends across Italy and Spain to identify growth opportunities and inform localized marketing strategies.
- Growth Strategy Development: Transform market insights into growth strategies for Italy and Spain, then partner with regional and global channel owners to execute, monitor, and optimize campaigns.
- Multi-Market Localization: Adapt global growth initiatives to reflect differences across markets, including language, culture, and consumer behavior.
- Platform and Channel Strategy: Provide strategic guidance across key European platforms and channels including Google (Search, YouTube), Meta, programmatic display, and affiliate ecosystems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with regional and global teams, setting and managing expectations effectively, to bring market-specific growth initiatives to life and deliver measurable business impact. Establish and optimize operating rhythm and ways of working.
- Project Management: Partner closely with Regional Marketing, Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Creative teams to align on priorities, shape product roadmaps, and lead the planning and execution of Growth Marketing initiatives—ensuring flawless delivery, clear accountability, and effective communication across all levels.
- Insights and Reporting: Deliver clear reporting and actionable insights to regional leadership and global teams to guide decision-making and continuous optimization.
- Growth Marketing Experience: 8+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or digital strategy roles within consumer-focused businesses.
- Italy / Spain Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Italian and Spanish markets, including consumer behavior, cultural nuances, and digital ecosystems.
- Platform Experience: Familiarity with major European marketing platforms including Google Ads, Meta platforms, programmatic display, and affiliate networks, and how they contribute across the marketing funnel.
- Data and Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret performance data, identify insights, and translate analysis into strategic recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with global marketing teams, product, engineering, and data partners in highly collaborative environments.
- MarTech and Innovation: Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, and measurement in privacy-first environments, including consent and attribution frameworks, as well as emerging technologies such as AI-driven marketing tools or localized asset development.

How We'll Take Care of You:
The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range shown below is annualized, is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
