The Growth Marketing team at Airbnb is at the intersection of marketing, engineering and data science. Our work is imperative to driving the top line of the entire company. As a Senior Growth Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in managing Airbnb's relationship with our guests. Your responsibilities include helping develop the strategy, enhancement, and execution of lifecycle marketing programs and campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app notifications, focused on improving our key customer engagement metrics (browse, search, page views) and re-engagement (repeat visits and activating of churned guests) to ultimately grow reach and drive guests further into the conversion funnel.

You will be responsible for end-to-end execution, from strategy alignment, to capturing business requirements, to planning, delivery, and evaluation of performance against KPIs. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Brand and Creative to set and exceed aggressive growth targets. Sitting within Airbnb’s Growth Marketing organization, the Display team is responsible for driving performance acquisition goals by planning & delivering digital media strategies globally. As part of the Growth Marketing team, you will leverage programmatic and paid social channels to help Airbnb achieve our Guest growth goals. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, FP&A, Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Design. This role utilizes a strong analytical background with a passion for executing scalable media strategies. Success in this role means maximizing the value of our digital media investments in order to drive impact for the global Airbnb brand.
A Typical Day:
- Develop and execute a world-class global display strategy, leveraging programmatic and paid social channels to exceed growth goals.
- Execute flawlessly against campaign components such as audience management, creative testing, budget and bidding strategies to maximize efficiency for owned programs; including technical setup of program.
- Maintain a data-driven approach through continual optimization to exceed aggressive company goals; utilize a strong background in experiment design and evaluation.
- Lead end-to-end creative brief development and execution, collaborating closely with program management to ensure exceptional creative quality.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop innovative features that optimize global media planning and drive growth. This includes integrating with product teams to enhance merchandising capabilities.
- Own project management and cross-functional campaign development workflow with dedicated Product, MarTech, Analytics, Data Science, and Creative teams.
- Research and evaluate growth opportunities, prioritize the most impactful projects, and evaluate engineering and data science technical requirements for projects.
- Be an end-to-end channel owner which includes tracking, measurement, attribution, optimization and automation across both web and apps.
Your Expertise:
- 8+ years of relevant work experience
- Proven results in growth marketing running high-volume campaigns across social, digital, and programmatic media. Travel or retail experience a plus
- Experience working with strong brand guidelines and eye for high-quality creatives
- Analytical and data savvy marketer. Strong knowledge of Excel (advanced functions), Facebook Ads Manager (or FMP), Google AdWords, and SQL
- Technical knowledge of tracking, tooling, experiment design and implementation
- Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate impact; ability to influence and work cross-functionally across several internal teams
- Strong project mgmt skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in global teams and collaborating across multiple geographies
- Passion for all things Airbnb. Experience hosting on the site is a huge plus

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
