SUMMARY: 

Responsible for improving our user experience, from concept through execution, by bringing our brand to life through consistent, high-quality design in all touchpoints. Collaborates with the external agency of record on brand development, creative direction and campaign concepts. Creates and maintains marketing assets developed internally. Effectively communicates to our internal and external partners to achieve department goals. Ensures all internal and external artwork is within brand standards and supports the Company’s brand voice.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: 

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIIES: 

Develops and modifies the creative falling outside of the scope of an agency.

Collaborates with the marketing team to support design across all channels (print, social, broadcast, digital, ATM, etc.) and brings new ideas for designs across these channels.

Collaborates with Marketing team members to manage vendor relationships for the production and delivery of campaign materials.

Develops and maintains corporate style guide while supporting the brand strategy across all mediums to ensure consistent look, feel and overall message both internally and in the marketplace.

Manages template library of marketing flyers, providing consistency and efficiency.

Collaborates with Communications and Marketing team to manage branch merchandising for consistent delivery of marketing messages and brand.

Collaborates with Communications and Marketing team to manage requests for creative coming into the department.

Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies with Marketing and Communications team

Collaborates with external agencies and other vendor partners.

Represents corporate mission, vision, and values to achieve bank and community growth.

Manages and works closely with the Junior Graphic Designer to provide guidance and feedback, ensuring all creative aligns with brand standards.

Adheres to corporate and department policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance of all marketing materials and messaging.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILIES: 

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Responsible for knowing and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies that include but are not limited to Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering rules, Right to Financial Privacy, Fair Lending, Community Reinvestment Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and other laws and regulations as they pertain to the position

Possess clear, concise, effective written and oral communication skills to effectively express thoughts, ideas and concepts to management and bank employees in a collaborative and solutions oriented manner.

Professional demeanor in appearance, interpersonal relations, work ethic and attitude.


COMPUTER SKILLS: 

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Proficient in design and web software of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Dreamweaver or similar software.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 

The wage range for the position is $55,000-$60,000 annually. The position includes 22 days of PTO (Paid Time Off), 5 days of STD (Short Term Disability), 11 annual paid holidays and 1 float holiday.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Design, or related field required.

Minimum five years’ related experience supporting multiple concurrent projects required.

Banking experience is preferred.

Supervisory experience is preferred.
