About the Role

As our Senior Government Relations Manager, you will be a key architect of ARX Robotics' political and institutional presence in Germany and across Europe. Operating at the intersection of defense policy, technology, and diplomacy, you will engage at the highest levels of government and military to advance our mission. This is a high-impact role for a professional who thrives in complex political environments and understands the strategic importance of autonomous systems for European security. 

Working as a trusted partner and proxy for the Head of Government Relations, you will have a direct hand in shaping the policy landscape. You will translate our strategic objectives into concrete engagement, build sustainable relationships, and serve as a key voice for ARX in the political arena, ensuring our perspective helps inform the future of defense. 

What You'll Build
  • Execute our government affairs strategy in Germany and across Europe, turning strategic goals into tangible outcomes. 
  • Cultivate and deepen relationships with key decision-makers within the German Bundestag, Federal Ministries (e.g., BMVg), the Bundeswehr, and relevant EU institutions. 
  • Actively engage with and shape positions within relevant industry and political associations, such as BDSV, BDI, Bitkom and comparable forums.
  • Shape our political narrative, crafting compelling position papers, briefings, and communications for senior leadership. 
  • Act as our expert on the defense policy landscape, providing actionable intelligence on legislative shifts and funding frameworks. 
  • Represent ARX in key industry associations and political forums, ensuring our perspective is influential. 
  • Serve as a trusted partner to our leadership, providing strategic counsel and representing the company at the highest levels. 
What You Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in government relations, public affairs, defense policy, or a related field  ideally with exposure to both the private sector and public institutions 
  • A significant track record in government relations, public affairs, or defense policy, ideally with experience in both the private and public sectors. 
  • An established network and demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers in the German government, Bundestag, and military. 
  • Deep expertise in the German political landscape, parliamentary processes, and the European defense ecosystem. 
  • Experience in the defense, aerospace, or technology sector is strongly preferred. 
  • The ability to translate complex technical and policy topics into clear, persuasive narratives. 
  • Fluency in both English and German is required for this role. 
  • Political astuteness and discretion, with the ability to navigate sensitive, high-stakes environments with integrity. 
  • A proactive and self-directed mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to manage complex relationships and projects.
